The theme of the conference will be 'Northern Exposure' this being the furthest IMSANZ has ventured since the 2006 IMSANZ Conference in Cairns. Far North Queensland is a remote tropical adventure where the rainforest really does meet the reef. In addition to the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics, there are options to explore volcanic craters, innumerable waterfalls, and a gulf savannah. 

We will move beyond the postcards and travel brochures to offer insights into a region full of contrasts. We aim to challenge you clinically and professionally with a diverse program which will include the usual suspects of subspecialty updates, oral presentations, supervisor workshops, and the IMSANZ AGM.

Commencing on Wednesday 6th September with a trainees and new fellows day, the sessions are open to all as we prepare our next generation of clinicians.

Cairns will be fantastic in September - make the most of your northern exposure!
