CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Scientific Programme Committee invites you to submit an abstract for consideration in the programme. Both Physicians and Trainees, may submit abstracts to be considered for presentation at the IMSANZ Conference, Cairns 2023. All abstracts will be reviewed by the committee for inclusion in the oral presentations and poster sessions at the conference. Please note there are limited spaces available in the programme.

As the IMSANZ Conference 2023 is a hybrid event, you may present your poster or oral presentation electronically. Details will be provided if you are selected to present. However, if you are able to travel at the time of the conference, the Committee would like to invite you to present in-person at the Hilton Cairns, alternatively, you will be asked to submit a pre-recorded presentation for either the poster or oral presentation. This is to ensure that there are no issues with internet connectivity.

Please note:
1. The submitter of the abstract must be the presenter at the conference.
2. The submitter must have the permission of all authors to present the research.
3. The submitter must register to attend the full conference and pay the appropriate fee.
4. Should you wish your presentation to be considered for an award you must be a IMSANZ member or intend on becoming a member.

General Information
All abstracts should be original research. Broadly this could also include an audit, a case report, or a description of a new innovation in health services delivery or education. However, the onus is on the author to demonstrate the significance of any work offered for this conference.

All presenters must register, attend and pay the appropriate fee to be eligible to present at the conference.
